LowStock

Developer integration

Connect your AI agent to LowStock

Your voice agent or AI assistant can search for products, check prices, and verify batch availability directly from the LowStock public catalog.

Public access, no account or API key · Read-only

MCP server address

  1. In the agent platform, add an external MCP server and paste the address above.
  2. Choose transport Streamable HTTP and authentication None / No authentication.
  3. Connect the server and upload the tools search_products and check_stock.
  4. Use product or category keywords for search and the returned identifier for stock verification.

An MCP client with Streamable HTTP is required. Clients that exclusively support the old SSE transport need an adapter. MCP is not a telephony service; voice is provided by your agent's platform.

search_products

Search by name or category. Returns the name, price, currency, available quantity, unit, location and lot link.

Parameters: query or category, plus limit optional (1–20).

check_stock

Check current stock by id. The quantity excludes reservations. An unavailable or non-existent lot returns found: false.

Verification does not reserve the goods. Availability may change until a transaction is completed.

What can you ask the agent?

  • "What workwear lots do you have available and at what price?"
  • "Search for ProfiWear lots with trousers."
  • "Is the lot you found still available?"

The agent converts the question into keywords, for example category: "Îmbrăcăminte" or query: "ProfiWear". The price is interpreted together with price_basis: per unit, per lot, or negotiable.

The MCP client performs initialization and discovery of tools. Supported versions: 2025-06-18 and 2025-03-26. JSON responses, no persistent session.

Access and security

Only public data of active batches with available stock are exposed. Contacts, profiles, conversations, private documents, credentials, orders, or stock changes are not available.

Maximum 20 results and 8 KB per request. A common server counter limits public access to 120 requests per minute in total. There are also additional local filters for repetitive requests. On 429 response, wait 60 seconds. For high-volume abusive traffic, the hosting provider's protection remains necessary.
